Benchmade Mini Crooked River with dyed backspacer (pics)

I didn't like the bright orange that the back-spacer was from the factory. I removed it and then dyed it dark brown (RIT liquid). The second pic is the dark brown dyed orange back-spacer. The last pic is after I removed it again and dyed it black (RIT liquid again). I left it in the dye while at a light boil for 45 minutes both times.

I like the color that it is now as it looks very wood-like.

After I did this I regretted it. I will get another orange one.

Meh, to each their own.

The orange is what originally attracted me to the CR, I only own the full size CR but will one day add a mini to the collection.
