Does anyone know of a mod that could turn the thumbhole into a stud? I've heard of these before. The thumbhole is cool..I really like this particular Mini Grip, just wish it had a thumbstud instead of hole. Thanks.
 
Don't know if the diameter is right, but you're thinking of the Wisemen Fang;)

Well, the WisemenFang is more of a Wave add-on than a thumbstud add-on if you ask me...

Replying to the OP question, I don't know of any inserts to cover thumb holes... If you preffer thumb studs, then you better stay away form Spyderco.

Zip tie favoring one side might give you the feel of a thumbstud if you can tolerate the look. Might be able to get some softer metal tabs from brass or aluminum and just crimp it on there.

I think there's some type of clip/clamp on deal for buck 110's to make it more like a one-hand opener but I've not used them. The above suggestions won't look the greatest but might get the functional part at least.
 
Phew! When I saw this thread I though you were gonna Emerson mod it ;) for studs I’d suggest just selling it and getting another grip with thumb studs. You also could look at those spine clamping disks. That might work. Cheers!
 
There's the "Kwik Thumb Stud" add-on, that you can find at a couple of suppliers.
