Benchmade mini griptillian 555 or spyderco manix 2

If you have a size you normally like in knives, go for the one closer to that. That's a really tough decision, I LOVE my 555, but it gets jealous when I spend a lot of time looking at manix 2's online...can't go wrong with either one, but eventually you'll need both ;)

I personally prefer Manix2. the way the handle design and blade shape profile, made me feel like I can use it harder.

I never did a side by side comparison but I remember them being differently sized knives with the manix 2 being significantly larger. I could be wrong, been a while since I held a mini grip. I'd probably go with the mini, I don't like the high saber grind on the manix 2. If there was a sprint available at a reasonable price that was FFG I'd pick that up.

Manix has a little too much handle width wise for me to want to put in my pocket. Mini grip, i have two now is not that exciting, but i will say that everything about it works really well, right down to the scales grips well and even the yellow one after getting dirty cleans up fast using just dish soap.

I'd take the Benchmade. The Manix is really wide in pocket, plus I couldn't get used to the ergonomics.

I'm trying to figure out this exact question too...I have decided to go with both . That help? haha

Between the two I would go for the Manix 2. I still want a mini grip though. It all really depends on what you're looking for. These two knives really are not comparable.

I only have the Manix 2 and full size Grip.

The Manix2 gets carried way more.

Then you start getting into the XL and Lightweight, and it's going to be down hill from there!

I would go with the manix 2 it a pretty awesome knife I do like the axis lock alot more than the bearing lock though.
