Last month, I became the fortunate owner of this small, but hardy knife. I have a large folder (Spyderco Endura), a fixed blade (Kabar), but I wanted a small folder that I could carry around without worrying about it looking to "tactical". I live in California and we have laws that probably makes it illegal to carry some fountain pens.
I've heard and read a lot on BM knives and I recently found one on sale. A brand new BM mini pika. The steel, from what I read on this forum is of good quality. Its razor sharp and the temper of the blade is amazing. I truly believe that I can shave with it. The handle is small and somewhat flimsy feeling. The resistance when opening one handed is very strong, but can be adjusted. One feature I really like is the pocket clip. Rather short, but the mini is a small tool. It runs along the very end of the knife, so you don't see any handle when carrying.
