I can get this knife for 95 bucks new in the box..does this seem like a good deal or can i do better elsewhere? And is this a good little knife?

One of the best benchmade ever. Jump on it if you want a solid performer. It does eat pockets though.

That is a pretty good price. The cheapest I see it for is $108. It looks like a good design but I don't like aluminum handles so I have never got one. Have you checked out the new Bone collector? It has G10 handles and skeletonized liners and is the same handle profile. It is also D2 vs 154CM and I have seen the small for $83 and the large for $92. The blade shape is a little different and more of a sheepsfoot style and has a hole instead of a thumb stud.

I actually have the bone collector....its a great knife..i started colelcting BM about 3 months ago..i love the axis lock...not a huge fan of metal handles but i do like that fact its a tank of a knife....the price is 95 bucks and that does include shipping but if anyone knows a better deal on the mini or the larger 520 model please let me know...thanks experts

I've got a 525 in my hand as I type this. To me, it's highly under-rated. It offers a very usable blade-shape with a relitively thin edge. The steel is good, holds an edge, no rusting. The lock is top of the line. The handle is the perfect size for my average hands -feels good in all grips. It is very grippy and locks into the hand well. It's not too heavy, but till feels very solid. Thumb studs are easy to get at. Opens smooth.
The only negative is the way it over grips whatever it's clipped to. It can fray pockets quicker than others. You can adjust the clip tention and that will help though. I'd say it's a steal at under $100.

So that info you guys gave me was great..I decided to purchase the knife..i was buying all kershaw for a while..now i just love the benchmade line..this will make a fine EDC knife..I heard the strength of the lock up on this knife is near unparalled...
