Benchmade Model 259

Does anyone know where I can get a Benchmade Model 259? How much is it worth? Thanks.

Not sure where you can find a BM259, but you can get a BM259B-S here:

They're very similar. I'm not sure what a good price for it would be, but $75 (that's what it's at now) seems okay.

I just picked up a PC 259B from snipe for $60. It was in pretty good shape and is making a wonderful carry piece. Her comment that it was built like a tank is an understatement, it's absolutely massive. I love it, but I'm a bit partial to heavy ones.

The cheapest 42's I know of are running $96, but that is from a friend of mine that sells at guns shows and the like, and he rarely has one. I wish I could find some for $85.

Little Chaozu, Don meant $25 more from $75, which is $100. You can find a couple of places that sell BM42s around there, or you could drop Don a line and he'll point you in the right direction.

IMO, I would advise not spending $75 for a 269. I spent $34 on mine a couple of years ago and I think that maybe it was worth it back then. To see the price doubled from what it used to be, I think is outragous. But, things are worth different amounts to different people. The 42 is worlds better IMO.

I must disagree, the PC 259 I recently picked up is built like a damn tank, IMHO an entirely different creature than the 42. I am a big fan of the heavier handles on the 259 and the blade is even a good bit thicker than the 42. I am using it to keep me happy until I can pick up another 45, due to the simple matter of economics.
