Benchmade model 42 Bali 440c blade(older style ) vs 154cm (newer style)

Looking for opinions on which you guys thinks carries more value on the secondary market?

The 440c blades will have a T-latch and the 154cm blades will have a spring latch.
It has been my observation that the spring latch ones are more in demand.
Personally, I like the finish on the handles of the older 42's (t-latch)more than the newer ones (spring latch).

My 42 with 440c has a spring latch. Bought it about 10 years ago. Still my favorite knife of all time, scared to flip it anymore now its discontinued, wish I picked up a second one while it was still available...

Yeah I have a 440c with a spring latch as well. Can't carry it since I live in California. So it just sits in the case. I'd say the 440c version is slightly rarer and more popular among collectors. But the 42 in general is very collectable and is always a quick seller.
