I've had these Presidios(520) for years, got them because of the blade shape. The handles not so much, I found them too big and heavy. I worked on and off for a few years to get them thinner, smaller, lighter. There were long periods on idleness on them, but now I think I have them as I envisioned. I removed the "too wide" handle flairs, machined the inside of the new scales, and fabed an aluminum filler. Of course I kept the liners and I must say they are thick for knives this size(strong). These are quite decent EDC now.

The regular has OD canvas Micarta.

The Mini has textured G10.

Together.

Really like the Canvas Micarta one.

Id say nice work.... I dont really follow benchmade, but the black g10 almost looks factory made! How did you achieve that texture?

The texture? It comes in that way with a peelcoat to protect it.

Those both look excellent. I really like your improvements.
I have EDC envy.
I too enjoy having the (Benchmade) big brother & little brother EDC knives, with custom Grips.
