Ok, so I am wondering what you all consider the absolute "Must Haves" for someone that collects Benchmades (aside from the Balisongs). Post pictures of your knives to keep this thread interesting. Thanks!

GO.

A Benchmade Mini Griptilian. Any blade shape or color.

Here's my 557SBK.

You will get an overwhelming response to get a BM 710, and I do agree

It ranks as my second favorite folder of all time.

First, however is the BM Rift, IMHO

here is my review on the knife: http://www.kniferating.com/listing.php?listurl=Benchmade-950-Rift (the review by Richard, should be first one)

You will also get a huge response for the griptilian, which I am not a HUGE fan of. I mean, I like it, but it doesnt "click" for me. The FRN handles are just.. not.. me, which is why most spydercos don't get much pocket time for me (other than my manix-2 sprint run carpenter steel)

The 950 Rift (don't have one yet), one of the Benchmade 4x balisong series, and the Gold Class Griptilian.

My current favorite is the Kulgera. I also like the Emerson/Benchmade I picked up new ~15 years ago. Still looking for a 630. Kicking myself for waiting too long after production ended. Any of those three would be excellent to have imho.

I would say the BM 710 gold class :)! But only 200 were made and they come at a big premium!

I'm going to have to say:

- Griptilian or mini griptilian
- Rukus or mini rukus
- 710
- AFCK (preferably 806d2)
- 940 / 943 osbourne

Seconed!

I also like the 940 and the 587

I agree with the rukus, or the Mini-rukus pending what your state says is legal....believe me the mini version is MORE than enough knife.

I would say a 710, Grip/Mini Grip variant and an Osborne (940/943).

An Ares is great, if you can find one. The Rift is a great knife too.

The 610/615 Rukus/Mini-Rukus are great - but so is the 710!

You can still find the 610/615 - if you search - as well as the auto 615, the 6`50.

Stainz

For me, the Griptiallian is a standout as an EDC.

Other must haves, IMO, are:

806D2 AFCK
805 TSEK (wish I had bought several when they were in production)
710
941

All of these are so functional, I just love 'em.

I can't find a single thing wrong with this Mini Skirmish. I have stated many times I not a BM guy but this Ti framelock is making a bit of a fibber out of me.
