So i finally got everything together and got my car running, the money for the insurance together and all that stuff, got the car for a present over a year ago and it took this long to get it operational, its a blue 1999 chevy cavalier 4door sedan base model. 110k miles.
For a present to celebrate like a step in gaining my independence (that and now no1 has to give me a ride to work anymore) they bought me a benchmade.
They bought me a griptilian, idk what model it is and i dont really care because thats just awsome :D

Also my car driving is awsome too lol.
It should come sometime this week and ill post pics from the box to the knife :).
I know Bm grips arent that big of a deal around here and people get them all the time, believe i just saw a thread made a few days ago about someone wanting one, but hey its a nice knife :).

Iv never officially owned my own benchmade, i borrowed some from people and played with them in stores but never bought one, mostly because of lack of money. In a few days i can officially say im a proud benchmade owner :)

Nice work getting your wheels up and running. You'll be pleased with the griptilian. I truly believe it is one of the finest edc knife platform in production today. The handle material is a little cheap feeling (and hollow feeling on the full sized grip), but rest assured, it's tough stuff and will last a lifetime. If like me, you decide you like the knife well enough to drop another $100-150 on some custom scales, it just takes an already great knife and turns it into a SPECTACULAR one. Yes, with the custom scales we are talking about a $200+ griptilian, which can turn some people off, but in my opinion, it feels more like a $300-400 knife. Anyway, like I said, even with its one downfall (cheap scales), the grip platform is one of the best around. Enjoy it, it may be your first, but definitely won't be your last...
