I just saw these new Benchmade knives and was interested. Looks like a decent stockman style knife for 10$ or so. I was curious as to how the micarta handles on these felt compared to other micarta knives. I've never had that type of scale material so assuming I order one of these to try out I won't have anything to compare it to. If anyone has used one yet I'd like to know about the scales and the quality of them in general.

$10 would be a pretty good buy for an import, especially with micarta scales. But their retail is listed as $25 though. :)

That's retail, not the street price. Poking around websites I've seen 10-15$ depending on which of the two models is selected. That's about what I paid for my Buck Stockman (371 I believe) from walmart. I thought they'd be fun to compare.
