Benchmade OR Cold Steel fixed blade

Considering weather or not to keep my Benchmade CSKII or sell for a Cold Steel Recon Tanto or like blade. Input? Thank you!

CSKII for Cold Steel Recon Tanto? Can it cut? I had one in the past (Carbon V version): did not use it for anything. What do you plan to use this knife for? If for chopping (or stabbing) that will certainly make sense, not for anything else though in my opinion.

never had a cskII but i do have a recon scout and gi tanto from cold steel...if the recon tanto is anything like those 2 then it has to be a sturdy blade.

good point...the recon tanto is a stabbing/slashing knife...decent small utility knife...but youre not chopping diddly with it.

No chopping. Meant for tac/def purposes only. Neither is/will probably ever much use out of me honestly I'm just looking into a new blade, bored w CSKII but it's a good knife

if thats the case the recon tanto should suit you fine.
