I recently bought a Benchmade Osborne 943 from a gun store. The owner said it was owned by a guy in the Green Beret special forces. He said they gave these to the military but weren't released to the public. Has anyone ever seen one like this?

its kind of like a clip blade but thinner the dugout 535 is more like the drop point bladeNo, I haven’t seen this model but I like it! Is this a drop point blade?
Didn’t see the other pics. Lol. Yes it’s a drop point.
Just found the scales there MetonBoss Titanium Benchmade Original 940/943 Scales, Reptilian Engraved. How much do you think the knife is worth? The 943 was a regular production model up until 5-6 years ago maybe. Came with black aluminum scales rather than the green as on the 943. Looks like this one just has aftermarket scales swapped onto
Unless you're a gold member you can't ask that. Sorry. However you know what the scales are worth, add the price of the knife unmodified and go from there. One last thing- always buy the item, not the story. How much do you think the knife is worth?
Payed a good price for it so which is goodUnless you're a gold member you can't ask that. Sorry. However you know what the scales are worth, add the price of the knife unmodified and go from there. One last thing- always buy the item, not the story.
It’s a great knife with a much preferred blade shape, at least in my opinion, over the 943 model.Payed a good price for it so which is good

Yeah at least I paid for the knife not the story bought the knife for lower then msrpThe first sentence MAY be true, as I'm sure you've figured out by now, the second sentence is pure unadulterated BS.
