Benchmade Pika II Questions

Does anyone have one of these? Is the round hole easier to use than the oval hole? Does the new round hole have sharper edges?

I tried a regular Pika and the oval hole was beveled so much that my thumb kept slipping off.

I have a mini pika I. The hole is beveled a lot, but I acutally pinch the hole between my thumb and middle finger so it's not a problem for me. The mini pika has held up great, so the pika II should be a good folder that's tough and cheap.

Just get an Endura or Delica. They aren't that much more expensive, and the materials are better. Might as well have the real thing.

I don't know but I'd like to know who has convinced BM that that silly top grind looks better than a conventional swedge.
It's the same thing on the mini-grip. I drew a swedge on the blade and it looked NEATO!

I've got the original Pika in ATS-34 and it's been my EDC for wayyy too long.

The round hole in mine is terrific, fits my fingers fine (but then again, I'm only 5'8) It's a lightweight simple design - can't beat it for the price.
