I'm still wondering why the 940/943 isn't available in custom knife builder.
Arguably their most popular folder, yet we're stuck with only s30sv or (the even less popular) s90v.
It's as if benchmade doesn't like money.

You're not exactly wrong, although to Benchmade's credit (and various Benchmade dealers), there have been a number of dealer exclusives that change up the scale material and appearance as well as the blade steel (off the top of my head 20CV, D2, and M390). So to an extent, there's already several distinct versions of the 940 out there which probably lessens the need for them to be available from the custom shop to a certain degree.

ETA: not to mention the fact that there's a few custom scale makers on here who do wonderful work if you're strictly looking to change up the appearance of your 940/943.
