I am interested in getting this knife, but haven't found much info on this version of presidio. How does this knife cut,how easy is it to carry, how does bm440c performs compared to bm 154cm,etc....All input welcome.(I cant handle the knife in person as I am ordering online)

G'day! The Ultra models are good knives. Based on the tried and true Presidio frame, and along with synthetic scales and a hollow ground 440C blade, these are excellent slicers at a great price point. If you've been around the cutlery business for awhile, 440C was once the premium blade steel supplied to custom makers. It has a high resistance to corrosion, easy to sharpen, and in real world comparisons is very close in properties to 154CM. The tip on these is thin, and might concern some; but if it's not used to pry, and slice things as designed it's rare to read about any of us having problems. ...and then there's Benchmade's bombproof warranty to consider. I like the scales. They're rugged, provide a sure grip, and look great. Hope that helps! Oh yeah, the knife is fully ambidextrous - good news for us lefties.

Thanx for reply, I always liked the presidio model, and will buy Ultra or regular model. Will try to handle both knives first, and then decide.
