Benchmade Price Gouge

Sir, that isn't price gouging. Good lord, is it a full moon or what!

Most manufacturers would rather sell knives through their vendors. This is why they sell for MSRP (Manufacturer suggested retail price).

Not only that, but you got the exact knife you wanted. If you made the same model that is sold for less elsewhere, then I don't know what to tell you...

If you only wanted 20CV and the FRN (or whatever they use) scales, you could have bought two users on the exchange (one 20cv/g10 and one 154cm plastic) swapped the blades and sold the G10 slabs to recoup funds...

After all of this, you knew what you were going to pay. It has a running total right on the screen. If you didn't like the $$$, then you shouldn't have bought it.

Buyers remorse is not Benchmade ripping folks off. It is just a customer not thinking through his options.

Lol he doesn't know what price gouging is, and in the way he used it, "price gouged" himself.

I ordered a costume griptillian with there costume knife maker. This I payed an extra $30 dollars for the 20 cv. They price on the MSRP so it was also 30 more then amazon. So at this point $160 in total. Then I also had to pay tax and shipping (would not have to had to pay tax or shipping on amazon). This totaled 190. Made me wonder if I should have just bought the 154 CM.

Depends, do you love the griptillian platform but want it in another steel? If not I would take my 200$ elsewhere.

Also the reason we do not buy off Amazon is to avoid the rampant counterfeits. There are so many counties on Amazon it is well worth paying the higher prices from trusted dealers.

It only that, but it is thought that the Custom (not Costume) Benchmades get better QC checks, so centering and blade play are not likely to be an issue.

This is what I meant...I’m just too lazy :D

The problem is he ordered a costume knife. Those things are no good. Get a custom.
I wonder if he goes red and blue handles with a clown faced pattern blade coating?
Or
Maybe it will look like flowers when he pulls it out, but there is a knife in the stem.

Either would be a costume knife.

Piss poor planning on OPs part.
Makes it's Benchmade's fault.

Or is OP really Gaston444 ?
If OP was Gasbag, he would have bought the D2 or 154cm version and claimed that it is the best since they are the only Ingot alloys left of the choices offered...

No it is more like the term costume jewelry. Like costume jewelry it only the best metals are used. It is made of 145mc steal. (The best)
