Was there a Benchmade made several years ago that was a frame lock and resembeled a sebenza? If so, can someone tell me the model # or post a pic!!!

borrowed the pic from The Knife Store

Here is mine

Very impressive design, fits my hand more comfortably than Sebenza.
The worst thing about this knife is that it is discontinued :(
If you still can get one – do it certainly.

I do seem to remember that these were plagued with blade play. I don't believe it effected function, but was there nonetheless.

Mine is OK so far although I have heard some complaints in this matter. Maybe be a certain production run could be screwed up in tolerances...

I like mine because there are nothing to break (no tiny springs), nothing to rust (no gape between G-10 (or something else) scales and steel liners, the whole is easy to clean and the handle fits my hand very comfortably.
Choosing a folder for outdoors - deep wilderness use I would evaluate Pinnacle higher than 710 Axis Lock and even my favorite BM design – AFCK, no matter axis or classic.

The only improvements I would like to see would be:
* slightly wider (say 3-5 mm in edge direction) blade without recurve at the edge and probably without false edge;
* ambidextrous opening stud;
* no plastic backspacer, rather two screws (at the same places they currently are) with decent titanium or steel sleeves.
