Hello, I was an article a while back that said there is a Benchmade model similar to the Strider? -- Does anyone know the model #? I think it had to do w/ some of the features, implementation, etc...710?? I think...Tx,

Not sure, but if it was compared to a strider, I would assume it was one of their framelock models and not the 710.

I can't think of any Benchmade that is similar to a Strider. Although there was this Bradley Cutlery knife that is like a Strider. It was a very small run (25 knives total) of their Bradley Alias model which had G10 one side, titanium framelock on the other, and a zebra striped blade. Good luck finding one, this L.E. run goes back to 2006.

BTW the Bradley Alias is made by Benchmade just under a different name.

the skirmish wasnt very much like any strider imho, i guess it had a frame lock.

buck makes some strider look alikes/clones, i dont recall any from BM though.

There was a framelock Benchmade that has been discontinued some time ago called the Pinnacle... that might be what you're thinking of. If you find one at a decent price, buy it. Or let me know, so I can.

there is a NON tiger striper run of Bradley Alias' with the G10/Ti combo. theres alot to be said for that in a knife, strength-wise.
