Just got back from Gander Mtn. with my new Benchmade Pika II. Sorry for the lack of photos. This is my first Benchmade. It's a tactical type folder with a plastic or zytel handle and a pocket clip. My question is: The blade is stamped with a "First Production" stamp on the blade (wasn't visible from the clam shell.). Is this anything significant in regard to potential future value? This is the first knife I've purchased with this type of stamping and I'll treat her much more gently if this is a future item of value. Thanks.

First Production etch doesn't add anything to the value of the knife. Use it without any second thoughts.

Appreciate the quick reply. This is one of their low end folders so I was just surprised to see that stamp. Thanks again.

The Benchmade Pika II looks like a Spyderco without the freaky-deaky bird's head look to the blade.
