Benchmade real or fake?

I need some assistance please. This knife was in a lot I won at auction for pretty cheap, which usually means too good to be true. My hubby swears its a vintage Benchmade. This is the only photo I have until they arrive in about two weeks. So, legit or not? Thank you in advance. (I hope the photo links work. I couldn't figure out how to insert photos.)

Hard to say if it's for sure legit without better pics but it certainly looks like a Benchmade 3000, an old automatic design by Mel Pardue.
