benchmade red class

hey guys i jus have a few q's about the benchmade red class as a few ppl told me there not nearly as good as the other classes and i was looking for input. im looking for a benchmade folder and i was wondering which ones are decent out of the red class as i was going to get the pika tanto because of the 440c steel but ive seen they have been discontinued.

any advice on good benchmade red class folders would be appreciated.

The ambush series is great for the price.... Many like the vex also..... I simply prefer the griptilian to any of the red class.

Folder from RED class of Benchmade - Monochrome from N690 steel - we test it on 0.8 and 1.4 sm. manila rope and he make 910 cuts and steel cut paper. Very good folder for his money!!!
 
Second on the Monochrome, bought one on ebay for $18.50+shipping. Very nice knife, very sharp, holds a wonderful edge.
 
i have got a pimped Vex which is a pleasure to use... but i love also my griptilians!:D
 
The red class are aimed at a less picky , more budget minded user . They give good value for money , if you like high end stuff , you will be dissapointed .

I will have to second or third an opinion here...the monochrome is a great knife for the money. Don't even waste your time trying to find an old Pika...I hated mine...felt and looked cheap...I got rid of it.
 
They are making a new Pika with Ti handles. GP k____s has them for less then $60.00. Great looking knives.
 
I have a Benchmade Red Line (pika- the old model) and it is very decent quality for the money. I would not hesitate to buy one again. It is good quality and is smoothe. Despite being imported, they are not at all like the no name crap.
