Benchmade Rolling Lock

I'm thinking about buying BM's large Ambush knife. I handled one at the store and I'd like to hear your comments on the Ambush. Thanks!

Great knife for the money. I bought one as a beater and found it to withstand more that I expected. That is, I used it for food prep, tearing down boxes, trail walks and cuts through old tires. The edge held up but did need very minor touch ups after a couple of days. The rolling lock was not the problem I thought it'd be. It did not get in the way of hard stabs or manuvering the handle in any way. Thanks to the pocketclip, the whole things rides low abd comfortably. The only drawback is that it has the aluminium handles, They can be a tad too slippery at times and definitely too cold for winter carry. Hope this helps.
