Benchmade Rukus: Riding a bit high?

I'm planning on buying wither the Rukus or it's little brother pretty soon, but from the pics, it looks like it might not be so great for a carry knife. I've got big pockets, so size isn't the problem. Rather, it's the clips. Would anybody mind taking a pic of a Rukus or a Mini Rukus clipped in their pockets, or just simply describe how high they ride? I would like to know how low the clips are before I buy it. Thanks.

Here is a picture of a mini in pocket. Great Knife that carries real well.

I got mine last week and have been carrying it on and off since. I really like it for carry- it actually does not feel like it is as big as it is. While in my wheelchair in IWB carry I forget it is there, and it is equally as comfortable for pocket carry. For extra assurances, my local Benchmade dealer has carried his since they came out and told me that he does not want another knife now that he has his (and this is more than just a salesperson trying to make a sale because I know him on a personal level).

My 1.85 cents Canadian (2 cents US)

Taken just a few minutes ago. Sorry for the poor quality, but all I have with me at work is my Blackberry cam.

I've been carrying my full size First Production Rukus (288 of 1000) since I bought it. It sits just fine in khakis, slacks, jeans, or whatever. There is no concern at all with carryability. Also holds an edge well. First knife I've ever used that could go through an elk without having to be resharpened.

One of the big reasons I like the Rukus is that it is a large knife that can be carried deep in the pocket. You only have a small amount of the back of the handle that actually sticks out of your pocket.

THR, How does the axis hold up to skinning? I would have to imagine the springs get gunked up BAD. I have been avoiding that task for years.

I also have a full size Rukus and it rides just fine in the pocket. I like the clip being black too because it is more inconspicuous. I carry mine everywhere even to school (college) and people never say anything or even ask to see it, which is how I like it. about a 1/4 of an inch of the handle sticks up out of my pocket which is hardly noticable. Love this knife, carried it everyday since I bought it.

I hate to hijack the thread, but for those of you who carry these: How does the weight factor in? I really like the looks of this knife, but up until now I thought my Blur was a little hefty at 4oz and this (the Mini Rukus, that is) is almost 2oz more than that.

Since I wear jeans and/or heavier weight pants I have no problem carrying the full sized Rukus. There is no drag or droop in the pocket due to the weight (7.7ounces). I would think that in lighter weight dress pants you would probably see and notice the weight more. Btw, I love a folder that has a little heft to it, sorta like my women..........just more to hold on to!!

Sure, the knife gets a little gunky while skinning, but soap and water are cheap.

Works fine for skinning AND processing. Here's me and my best friend cutting up elk. I'm the one in the NRA cap cutting with the Rukus in the foreground:
