And there is my problem (sorta).

Normally I carry IWB, but besides appearing to be overjoyed to see people, the RUKUS is pushing the limit for this method of carry on my small frame.

Does anyone know where to get a good belt sheath for it?

Well, I find the Skirmish carries fine.

And comparing them just now, I could see modifying the RUKUS clip to fit the Skirmish (might weaken the clip too much, though). A bit of rounding and shaping.

I'm thinking it's a bulk and width thing.

Shoot me an Email if you want a custom leather, cordura or kydex sheath.

Congrats on the Rukus - 'tis a beast, indeed!!

Daniel Koster - put your site in my "sheaths" folder.

Got some stuff goin' on at the moment (life is full of the unexpected), so purchases are going on a hiatus for a bit.

I like carrying the Rukus clipped to my right front pocket much better than the Skirnish. This is due to the tip up carry which makes it easier to get your freakin hand in your pocket. The Skirmish tears at my hand when trying to get it in the pocket. I find them both to be big, bukjy knives that weigh a considerable bit more than a Spyderco Military. I just got my Rukus yesterday, xo time will tell.

State law, I'm good to go. Municipal and such laws can put a damper on carry, though.

I figure it'll make a dandy woods/outdoor folder. I'd like to see it in M2, but that'll never happen.

The Military is a featherweight for its size.

My two edc's now consist of the Rukus 610, and the Skirmish 630BK-503, carried only one at a time, of course. I always dedicate my right front pocket to one of these and to it only. This makes digging in my pocket a cinch, and I don't end up with a coin stuck in my knife! Just received the 630BK-503 and find that it rides much flatter than the Rukus, but in the hand I like the thickness of the grip from the Rukus. Whichever I carry I feel that I have plenty of knife for any job that arises.

Actually, I'm beginning to think the ideal sheath for the RUKUS would be something akin to a spare magazine carrier. Adjustable tension, upper 2/3 exposed for easy deployment/grabbing, pancake back with two sets of slots for straight up and canted forward.

Yep, probably having to go custom.

Well, it'll be a bit before I can come up with the funds, so I can carry/use it a bit before deciding.

That Harsey sheath looks like a possible temporary idea, but it may fit loose (not too happy with loose sheaths).

I didn't think the RUKUS would be a carry problem as I'm comfortable with the Skirmish. It's not that more bulky. Then again, maybe I'll get used to it.
