We are talking customer service of the highest degree. Check this out:
I have been carrying my BM 705 KOTM May 2000. It has aluminum handles that are made to look like CF with some kind of paint or decal. Absolutely LOVE this knife. Collector piece, but I couldn't not carry it.
So anyway, the coating on the scales starts to come off. I decide, take it apart (I know...warrenty), strip the paint off , and have an alum. scale 705. Well I do this and find that the knife only has one omega spring. So, thanks to the wonderful people on these forums, I call Benchmade and talk to Angie (the coolest and most helpful customer service person I have spoken to in any industry). I tell her I took it apart, stripped the paint, only one spring, how much to add one? She tells me " it's our fault... send it in" I say "how much to add a satin clip to match the knife, and maybe some bronze washers plus shipping?" I am expecting $15 maybe $20. My new best friend says "No charge...just send it in."

Ten days go by, at my doorstop, my BM 705, alum. scales, satin clip, new spring, bronze washers, and factory sharpened. Price: $0.

I am fired up. Thanks Benchmade, You guy Rock:D

Peace all, Josh

I 3rd the opinion!
About 10 years ago, my then 9 year old son decided to play mumbly peg with my new mini AFCK. Well, long story short, he broke the tip off. About 1/4" of the tip. After some serious conversation with my son about knife safety and the proper use of a tool, I decided to send it back to see what could be done. I fully expected a call from Benchmade and a charge, but a week and a half later, they sent it back with a new blade!
That one act made me a customer for life. I have other blades. Lots of other blades, but BM is still the company I recommend because of the quality of their knives, AND their customer service.

Fred

PS,
My son is now studying culinary arts, and has a deep appreciation for knives and their proper useage.

Yeah angie is great. The only company ive ever delt with that has similar service is chris reeve knife company.

Are you sure he isn't just playing mumbly-peg with larger knives? Just kidding. The lack of toes would tip you off.

Benchmade has outstanding customer service. The only complaints I've seen have involved replacing an older model of a knife with a newer model or not resharpening as well as the customer wanted (rare).

Benchmade's great customer service is why I have carried one of their knives for close to 10 years. Their the best.

I am a Benchmade "newbie", having just bought my first ones in the last month.

Ambush was the first, quickly followed by a 556.

I have to admit I am now a benchmade fan!!!!!!!!!

axis locks rule! the fit and finish on both knives is top notch.

Nope,
I'm not sure with this kid...he was walking with a slight limp yesterday

I've never had anything but positive experiences with Benchmade products. They sent me a new clip free of charge, although they probably didn't have to. And, now that they have started grinding their blades a little thinner, they really are the shiznits.

Benchmade rules???...Dang, I guess I didn't find the rules in the Benchmade handbook, but I sure DO like my Benchmade knives!.:D.

Benchmade is geat!

Maybe some do know, that i have had trouble with my 806D2. There were nice forumites here to help me seing the problem.

Short: Just because i´m an "out of country"- customer, they replaced the knife without demanding the bad one back.

Impressing.

Actually there is my first BM on the way to them. Hope it will arrive. Say a praier for me.
