Anyone have field experience with this knife? How well does it skin and process game? Hold an edge well? Thanks.

Wife got me one of these a couple of Christmas's ago. We've both used it alongside some other knives in processing 4 deer including two bow kill bucks this season. This includes gutting, skinning, deboning, and finish trimming the meat. A LOT of cutting.

I like the knife. It came sharp and holds a good edge reasonably well. It needed to be touched up after finishing the first deer, but it will definitely get the job done. I personally, would not purchase this knife today unless I got a smokin' deal on it. For the money, one could probably do better getting a medium fixed from one of the many makers on this forum. But, that being said, i'm not looking to get rid of this one anytime soon. Like I said, it will get the job done.

I appreciate the input! I bought one a couple months ago and am going hunting next week....hopefully using on deer and hogs. Thanks!
