Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew the difference between the SBT models and the SBK models in benchmade knives. Thanks for any info.

s usually means serated edge and the bt and bk are 2 diff types of blade coatings. bt stands for black teflon. this was the first one and it scratches and shows wear very easily but is claimed to provide protection even when no longer visible on the blade by penetrating the metal somewhat. bk stands for benchkote and it is a much more durable kalgard-ish material.
