Hi,

Does any one know a source for the screws BM uses on their pocket clips? The reason I ask is that I took off the clip, and lost original ones:(.

TIA:)!

Here's a story I have to post on GBU yet...

I too needed screws, as the heads on mine were stripped (and never were the same size anyways!!!). The stripping was my fault... they weren't completely stripped...

ANYWAYS, back to the story! I e-mailed Angie at Benchmade and gave them my address. I got 9 new screws in the mail a week later! That is AWESOME!

Now I just need a torx bit the right size...

Get the little Benchmade torx set. It's only 10 bucks and gives you all the common sizes used on knives except T5 which is for the tiniest little 1-72 screws. That size can be ordered from the knife supply houses.

Angie at BM warranty / service really rocks -- those folks do their job very well !!

You might want the BM Torx Kit, but be warned that the bits are not that high of quality, they will break and strip (warp, twist, etc.) You might want to look into some higher quality bits.

You can get very high quality Torx (and other) drivers at

www.wihatools.com

They can be ordered individually or in varous kits. They will also send you a very neat, informative catalog.
