Hello I'm a fairly new member here and I just ordered a benchmade 5400. Any one else picking one up? And if not why not besides maybe the price is a little high.

I really wanted one before they were out but looking at them now I'm not so sure... It has a weird handle in my opinion. I'm sure it's still a awesome knife! I may go over to the benchmade factory and check one out.

I'm left handed and most autos are designed for right hand use (button placement)

I really like the idea of an ambidextrous auto. And I like the thumb studs = assisted / axis lock = auto

I may get one someday. Right now I'm looking at a Wicked Edge to keep what I already have sharp.
