So I received the knife today, and when taking it out of the box, I thought I was unpacking an M1 Tank! Man this folder is built like one. The lockup has that loud, deliberate snick to it. And the pivot is real smooth. The scales have awesome grip without being to aggressive, and the handle fits just right in my hand. The blade is finely sculpted, and super sharp right out of the box. Fit and finish are fantastic, and I would recommend checking into this folder if you are looking for a heavy built, mid size folder.
I will be carrying and using this knife and in a couple weeks, I will follow up on a performance review on it. I have a feeling it will be a great performer. This is the first BM Knife I have ever owned, and am excited I was able to get a Sibert Design in a Benchmade for the first purchase.

Congrats on the new folder! Nothing like shooting high for your first Benchmade.

Its funny you mention that. I mostly buy semi to full custom pcs. I have a couple Emersons and Fallknivens, but customs I like best. So, I was looking to buy a Pocket Rocket about a year+ ago. No chance. So as soon as I seen this Benchmade, I couldn't resist.

this is an awesome knife, there are many people here that just want to talk bad shit about the knife . its razor sharp out of the box, built like a tank its just an awesome knife

I love my MPR it really is a tank and I love carrying it around. Only gripe is the pocket clip being so small I fear it falling out. But it hasnt happened yet *knocks on wood* But it truly is a terrific knife!

I really like mine also. This little sucker is a blast to carry.

I too really like mine although I did have to send it to BM for repair but I really can't wait to get it back, awesome knife.

I have a tendency to open and close mine for absolutely no reason, just to feel how smooth is it. I love it!
