Benchmade Skirmish

I bought a Skirmish half a year ago. I was curious what the other owners thought about it. As for myself, I don't use it a lot since it is too big for everyday use, but it certainly does look cool.

I have a mini-SKirmish. I bought it because the Skirmish was just a tad large for a folder. It's a very smooth frame-lock and I like it alot. In fact, it's inside my waistband right now.

I think they're nice knives, but I prefer tip-up carry & the thumb hole is a little small for my thumbs. A thumb stud or larger thumb hole would work much better for me.

Nice looking knives though, great blade steel, & you can't go wrong with a Ti frame-lock.

I agree with you. I was looking at one at my local brick and mortar and I just don't have the hand for it. The mini is niiiiice though.

Side note- my dealer said he dropped the skirmish (large) while open and put a HUGE gash in his foot. Moral - when you got your blade out, make sure you got a good grip. ha!
