i didn't particularly like the knife when i first got it but after i awhile it found it to be the perfect edc, it's small and light, and the blade is very useful

I had a couple of the 940 models and liked them pretty well, but thought the handle too slim but then I did get another, but when I saw Dexter's post that showed the 941 I knew I had to get one of those! Well I did, it was a black handled one but had partial serrated blade, not my favourite so I sold it to a friend at work the other day and got this from Duane Weikum, excellent person to deal with as well! This blade is so nice, almost a wharncliff in overall looks with just a slight raise up near the tip, so it's the best of both worlds, might even have a Butterfly knife made with this blade shape, in a 4" blade though...with S30V steel...Titanium handles and something special for the inserts! we will see!

I really liked the blue 940 that I had, but I have to say that the red appears to be so much nicer. I almost had to wonder if Benchmade had modified the handles slightly, since the color really seems to highlight the contours of the handles, unlike the blue/green/black versions.

Nice catch!
