Benchmade Spike -- going price?????

Does anyone know roughly what a large size Benchmade Spike is going for these days?

I have a vintage (I think) SOG Sogwinder, and a new CRKT First Strike (shorter blade Black) which I am considering attempting to put towards a trade for I think I would rather have. I loved the looks of the Spike I saw on eBay, but have no clue what they are worth.
 
Last time I watched BM knives on eBay, the 650 Spike was going around $80 used, and about $125 NIB, but that was over a year ago. I really don't know what they are going for currently.
 
I have two new ones that I looked at selling but then decided not too, and they went for $160 to over $200 the last few months on Ebay for the large one as I was watching the prices for awhile.....
 
WOW Thanks for the update. Well, in that case they are out of my price range. Sure look nice though.
 
i didnt really care for mine, the liner was awfully thin IIRC, it didnt inertia open very well, tip down carry, i did like the long blade though.

lotsa better stuff around now and cheaper to boot.
 
That makes me feel better than. Is there a current production model of some kind that is roughly similar but better opening and not too thin?
 
As far as I know, the only similar knives in production are the cheap clones that helped end BM's production.

As for the liner lock being thin, it is more than adequate for what it is. The blade itself is thin enough to discourage the sort of misuse which will stress a lock. It really doesn't inertia open very well, a combination of a good detent (which you definitely want with a point like that), a relatively thin blade, and the distal taper which shifts the center of mass toward the pivot. None of which matter to me, since it can be opened as fast as an auto by a simple flick of the thumb on the stud, especially on the early production models with the flat top studs.
 
If I had ever had an auto Spike (plain edge) at one time, it probably would have parted from my company for a $100.
