Hi all, I'm Max...long time reader, first time poster.
I have a manual BM Stryker that has been requiring a lot of pivot tightening (nearly every day) due to the blade becoming off-center when closed and quite "wiggly" to the point of the blade scraping the inside of the liner when closing. The lock is still rock solid when the blade is open but there is significant x-axis back and forth motion when held. I know continual tightening of the pivot isn't recommended but, obviously, I don't want something that feels like a tooth after getting punched in the face with a brick. Any suggestions? Should I lubricate it or something?
