I'm trying to decide whether to get one or not, so, how does it compare with the Benchmade Lum monolock ? In terms of quality and execution.

Reason is I have the BM Lum monolock, but I'm not too pleased with it. Does the subrosa have sticky lock as in the Lum ?

Thanks guys. You guys rock

Just got word that mine is on it's way to me. I also have the Lum monoblock, so I'll have to take a look to compare.

I have no experience with the 760 Lum but I have had a chance to handle the 790 Subrosa in a passaround. The 790 is a very nice knife and the Nitrous assisted opener rockets the blade open with no problem. The frame lock on the one I tried was rock solid with no sticking. I also had a chance to take the knife apart and remove the Nitrous mechanism making the folder a manual. The switchover was easy and I preferred the manual version. I also really liked the recurve blade, very reminiscent of the 710.

I have both, the 760 for about a year, and the 790 for over a month. I don't like the black coating or the tanto blade of the 760. The M4 is not the easiest metal to resharpen. I love S30V - but I am not so fond of the Nitrous assist of the 790 - doubt it's longevity. Neither is perfect - a mix of the two would be ideal. Until such is available, I seem to have definitely settled on the 790 as my favorite. My 755 does see more pocket time.
