Benchmade Taking to long ??

Why o WHY do's it take so long for them to get the new knives out. Been eyeing the new Benchmade 14255 and the 14205 H&K. Also the 913 and 912. Come on benchmade.:yawn:

Most of the knife companies do that. They put ads in the gun and knife books several months before the knife comes out. I have seen some that end up taking a year after the ad. They want to see how much interest there is and IT DRIVES ME CRAZY TOO! Kevin

They don't necessarily do it on purpose. Unforseen events can cause delays...especially if they use exotic materials/steels or are utilizing an outside manufacturing source for components or the entire product. Sometimes coordinating all these issues suffers unexpected delays.

I just went through this same thing with my Emerson CQC-15. I saw that thing in a magazine I think last August. It just came out 2 months ago and I finally got one. Great knife!! Now I want a 14205!!!!
