ive tried doing the on bladeforums though google and that wasnt too helpful.

Does anybody know when the Ti Pika is going to be released ?

I havent been this excited over a release since the zdp Leek.

I don't know, but I have a mini pika, and am also looking forward to the Ti mini pika II. The only thing I don't like is that it seems to be tip down only.

right, the old ones are tip down only.

tip down is actually what I prefer.

My Pika I is tipdown, only.

The pictures I've seen of the Pika II appear to allow either. That said, I think the Pika I looks a lot better aesthetically, and I also prefer tip down carry.

im not all that interested in MSRP or serrations for that matter.

anybody know when they'll hit the vendors?

There is a typo on the Ti Pika description on the Benchmade web site.

Blade Hardness is listed as 58-60. It should be 57-58 just as it is on the FRN model and on their steel composition chart. I asked them. It is the same steel alloy and the same hardness as on the FRN model.

FWIW The reason the FRN page is correct is that I challenged them because the original hardness for the FRN model was also listed as 58-60 while the composition chart said 57-58. And I measured mine at 57.5.
