I have a 585 that the clip has spring a little and needs to be taken off and reajusted, I can't find anyone local that has the correct small enough torx any idea on the size I need to order. and where to order thanks elton

Do you have a Sears, Home Depot, or Lowes close by? All of them should carry a Torx set. I have some individual drivers from Sears and a Husky set from Home Depot that all work good. The clip should take a T6 bit, at least thats the size on the Benchmade that's in my pocket.

I found a T6 screwdriver at an electronics supply store (they use them on equipment such as cell phones). Never could find a bit that small in the Torx sets from Sears or Home.

The little Benchmade "Tool Box" comes with 2-ea. #6 Torx, #8 Torx, and #10 Torx bits.

Doesn't hurt to have on hand a set of small Allen wrenchs too for the older Benchmades.

thanks will ck with sears, I've been to lowes, homedepot no one has the small stuff. thanks again elton

Lowes and Home Depot both carry a small screwdriver that had double sided bits stored in the handle. Perfect for knives. I have both. They are in the screwdriver section in a small clamshell. 7 dollars or so. The husky one from Home Depot seems like it is a bit better quality IMO.

Has a 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 15.

Some Benchmades use T8 or T6 bits for the pivot as well, just for future reference.

I have a Husky brand set which I got at Home Depot
Benchmade has their own brand but is more money (I got one of the BM ones on eBay for a decent price though)
