Benchmade : UPDATE

Anyone know if benchmade has plans to make a Mini 810? ....... Would be my end all.

Good thought, i have one, longer than i have had the 810, about 3yr. I flip back and forth edc between the two. I missed the forum rift. After having the 810 since its release, i really like the steel and it's RC. What i love about the 950 and 810 is the reverse tanto and wide blades.

P.S. I will add for for conversation .... Good or bad i dont know. Since having these two blades i have not bought or looked for another folder. I've gotten heavy into freehand sharpening. I check Mr. Anderson's steel chart thread every now and again, i've read it several times. That guy has contributed so much to this forum, he really deserves so much thanks.

The easiest thing to do would be to email Benchmade or ask on their own forum.
 
UPDATE :
I am not aware of them having this model in a smaller version anytime soon. We are happy to hear your feedback and I will pass this suggestion along. All new products will so on Benchmade.com so keep an eye on the site.

Unrelated yet in the same spirit....

A little bird told me they are coming out with a Mini Barrage with M390 and G-10/AL like the 581.
 
Yeah the 581 is the Barrage that I fancy, a mini version of that would be nice also.
