benchmade use locktite?

i have a mini grip and took it camping. i cut potatos and now its funky on the inside. i wanted to take it apart for cleaning. my only question is do they use locktite because i don't really want to hassle with cleaning it up

There shouldn't be Loctite on the pivot of a new Mini Grip, but you may want to add a dab of blue Loctite to the pivot screw when you reassemble. It isn't messy.
