Haven't seen a lot posted on the new BM fixed blades, figured i'd throw up a few pics of mine in light action today.. Getting my blinds setup over the holiday for bow seasons got me itching for the hunt and carrying this beauty in the woods. Best anniversary present ever.

Thank ya, I should have mentioned it came laser sharp.. scary sharp.. I love it!! Gonna have a backup(Izula,CS Pendelton Lite) for anything that makes me worry about the tip.

Ketchup , BBQ - NO . But some cranberry sause would be just right !

Great pics BigRob! I am setting up a few stands this weekend as well. Bow season in my home range begins in a few weeks.

Curious as to your opinion regarding the 15007 vs the 15001 - which is the better for simply gutting a whitetail? I am trying to decide which to purchase, and am having a bit of analysis paralysis.. Haven't handled either yet.

Personally I just liked the looks of the blade, I like the point and its extremely sharp. Getting just underneath where you want and unzipping should be incredibly simple. I also like the jimping out near the end for when ya gotta reach way up in there and be very precise without seeing a thing. I have yet to use it on field dressing but I can tell ya the blade tip down is lazer sharp. The handle feels great in my hand and its easy to clean.

I'm trying to gather a knife from each American made company, I have a mini-barrage(LOVE IT) and this one.. I wish I could afford to own a whole lot more BM's.

I have an orange handled steep mountain on its way to me especially for this hunting season. Nice blade and dinner. I just had deer steak last night for dinner and took
the leftovers to work for lunch today.

I have the hidden canyon hunter in g10 and the saddle mountain/15001, I haven't used either for field dressing, but the slight recurve and jumping at the tip (a feature they all share) makes for great slicing and tip control, the weight if the blade at the tip feels almost like a light machete l. With a lanyard around mine it feels like it would fair decently in light/medium chopping. Even the smaller hidden canyon feels rock solid and almost overbuilt. I love them all and your new present is the final piece to my collection lol.
But after just ordering a Swamp Rat RS I won't be buying too many nice blades any time soon.
My BMs will tide me over till then. American made premium quality, hands down!

Very nice. I too put up a stand and cleared some shooting lanes this morning. Getting ready to put the disc on the fields and plant some deer eats. It really got me in the mood to hunt. I just carried a boring old Leatherman with me today, but it came in handy a few times. Especially when putting up some camo burlap around my blinds.

That reminds me I need to be shooting my bow a lot more often.

Thanks for the responses gentlemen, im making a trip up near traverse city for king salmon and state land rough neck camping, will share photos upon return.
