Hey guys...

I have a fairly extensive collection (30 or so blades) some have more, some have less.

Somewhere along the way, I lost my Benchmade "Vex", so I bought one again today. I really, really like this knife! Though China made, with Chinese steel , the knife seems to be really well made.

I am looking forward to once again adding this knife to my collection. Really and truly it should be one of my EDC.

Does anyone else carry this knife? If so what are your opinions??

I have a Vex as well. I don't carry it, but, it's a sturdy knife to be sure. That particular knife was an excellent price-point piece from Benchmade. They would do well to bring some of those Red Box blades back.

I believe Sanrenmu (sp?) manufactured them so you might look at their line up. I almost bought an HK Vex the other day but it was partially serrated. If it weren't for that I would have snatched it up. I really liked the rounded spine and overall construction, especially for $25

Thought I bought one on ebay a couple weeks ago from ebay- turned out to be a knock off!

I thought it had great potential and might try to grab a real one at some point.

Most of the ones that I have seen on ebay lately have been knock offs. I suspect that they are made by the same company that did the originals. They appear to be the same knives with different grinds.
