I had one but returned it. The lock, after using it for a day, wore a blister on my thumb that later made it very painful to close. It was still and made a rubbing noise like plastic on plastic. I liked the blade shape. The thumb hole in the blade was roughly cut out, but the g10 looked nice. I disliked the pocket clip also.

I Picked up a VEX a while back for around 25 Bucks, They are great blades for the money, The thing I like most about the blade is the shape and the hole in the blade making it easy to deploy, mine was a little stiff when I first got it but added some breakfree CLP to the pivot and it now deploys very qucikly... So far mine has not failed its been a good blade..

I agree that the liner is a little stiff, but that's also because the liner is a little thicker than average (which is a good thing). As far as the rest of the knife goes I have no complaints. BM also made the Vex in a tanto model which I also use. Good knives at a good price point.

I just received a Vex today, and I'm quite impressed. I find no issues with the liner lock, and it deploys quite nicely. I certainly prefer the handle ergonomics to those of the Griptilian. The blade steel is the only unknown quality for me at this point. But it certainly seems like a great knife for its' modest cost.
