Benchmade Volli

I have a pretty decent collection of knives... Osborne 940, a couple of Delicas, a Citadel 83mm, a few sprint-run Spydercos (Paramilitary 2 and Tenacious)... Here is my question:

I love this Benchmade Volli that I just bought EXCEPT for one thing... the handle is slippery in my hand despite the cool sculpted scales. Does anyone have any advice as to how to make it more tacky in the hand without making it too sticky in the pocket. Otherwise I love this knife as my main EDC. Go figure. I wish it had the tackiness of my 940 or the simplicity of my Tenacious or PM2. I have a bit of arthritis in my thumb so the Axis Assist is working for me.
Any advice would be appreciated.

I own this knife and I must say that I dont have this problem at all. However, if you take some medium-grit sand paper and hit it lightly that should give a little more traction. just be sure to oil the g-10 when done w/ some 3-in-1 oil (or similar), let it set for a min, then wipe it off. the g10 will absorb the oil over the span of a day or so and you will have a nice, grippy volli.

Thanks... will give this a try. Otherwise this knife is great. Opens like a dream and wicked sharp. Relatively light. Right now it is my fave.
