I have to say that I love Benchmade's Warranty and customer service. I have been dealing with other manufacturers on different, small issues on some knives and it has been a pain in the butt  I can't believe to replace a lost pocket clip on a Buck Vantage knife, I have to send it in for warranty. And the turn around time is 6 to 8 weeks from the day received. 6 TO 8 WEEKS  For a clip! Makes me want to sell anything that doesn't have the little butterfly logo on it. Same thing with one of the "Italian" knife makers. Try getting ahold of Fox Cutlery. Its been almost a week and no reply. Oh well rant is over...

Thank you again Benchmade for being the best knife company out there.

Well said, +1 on your post~!

Buck's warranty department made me realize today, just how great Benchmade really is. I may just send in the knife to Buck without a return address... Nah... can't just throw money away like that. It would be kinda cool though :D

I had excellent service on my one occasion of using Benchmade's warranty. They paid for shipping in both directions to have the glass breaker on my Contego replaced.

I've used Benchmade's warranty service 4 times. Each time they treated me with the absolute best quality customer service I've ever seen from a company, knife manufacturer or otherwise. I tottally understand what people mean when they talk about that "Benchmade feeling"; it's the feeling of knowing you've got an entire company at your back, ready to assist you with any problems. I own tons of amazing knives from different manufacturers, but only my Benchmades give me that warm fuzzy-feeling when I pick them up.

Okay I gotta clear up one thing I said. I made reference to Fox Cutlery... that was my bad. :foot: I had sent an email to the Italy Fox Cutlery, they never responded. At the suggestion of RamZar I sent it to the FOX USA email and within ten minutes I had an answer. So I will be sending in a knife for warranty work to them. Hope that they are 1/3 as good as Benchmade is.

I must agree! I asked for two clips and they were at my door in under a week (it was awhile ago so I don't rember exactly how long it took). Excellent customer service!

Glad this thread got started. I carried a pardue auto for about 9 yeas on a fire engine and ambulance, one day it just stopped working. I was bummed because it was a user, showed character. It sat in my locker for quite a while when I decided to go through the process of registering with Benchmade and getting it sent in. It took about 4 days for BM to email me saying they had my knife and that it was about 6-8 days turn around time. Well I got it back in my hands about 10 days later. New springs, cleaned/lubed, new pocket clip and factory edge put on the blade. I was really impressed with them. Not to mention that for 25 bucks I could have got an entire new blade, but I am kind of fond of this one. Its pried open a lot of elderly folks screens on windows to force entry when they have fallen and can't get up!

Can't comment on their warranty service, as I've yet to use it. Their customer service is great though. I've probably requested a half dozen pocket clips for various knives over the past couple of years. I've snagged and bent a couple, but the others were just swapping out the standard painted clips with the parkerized split arrow style ones.

benchmade has really impressed me with their warranty department very fast shipping sent the part I needed and some extras so I just bought another benchmade to support this great company.

Benchmade has great customer service and I have nothing but excellence to say about them.

Okay to be fair to Buck Knives I am updating my thread. So I am sitting here with my Buck knife packaged and ready to be shipped off for six weeks to Buck. I get an email from one of the Buck representatives saying that they are sending a clip out to me today. Boy do I feel like an a$$ after bad mouthing their customer service. Still, it is not someting that they do normally. Normally a knife has to be sent in for warranty work for a clip replacement. I just felt that I needed to be fair to the Buck company. Still no where near Benchmades customer service, but at least they are trying.

When you absulutely need the best: Benchmade knives.

I sent my 755 in for a sticky lock. Came back with no stick but then there was lock rock. I called bench made and they sent me a pre-paid label to send it back. They ended up replacing the titanium liner and stop pin free of charge. Now the knife locks up solid and I love it! Great customer service!

+1 Benchmade sets te bar high! Great job Benchmade! That's why I own the most in qty are BM verse others. They really go above and beyond.
