My 710 started having some vertical bladeplay so I sent it in along with $5 for return shipping. I sent it in the last week of February and I got it back yesterday. They fixed the blade play and in addition they replaced all the body screws and pivot, put in a new stop pin, brand new axis lock and springs, cleaned and oiled everything and sharpened the knife with a decent toothy working edge. It feels like I have a brand new knife.

The best part for me is that the paperwork says the person that did the repair is named "Crystal VanCleave." How do you have a name like VanCleave and not be working in the knife industry?

Good stuff.

I've talked to Crystal a couple of times and she is pretty helpful, but she didn't believe me when I told her that 2 out of the 3 times I sent in the same knife, they didn't preform warranty service on it :D

Sounds great, I'll keep that in mind...

And if the knife is new with a defect, you don't even have to pay return shipping. I had a problem with my 943 and they fixed it right away, gave me an extra clip as well.
