Benchmade warranty on limited edition knives

Quick question about the limited edition runs of benchmade knives. As we know benchmade will exchange knife blades if needed as part of the warranty service.
But if someone purchases a limited edition version with say a black cerakoted blade as opposed to the standard production knife with a grey cerakote, would BM still be able to swap out the blade or would they refuse becuase the blade they might have on hands finish wouldn't be the color that came with the knife?
 
For limited edition blades we usually do not have replacements available. All of the blades are used up in the limited run.

I recently sent a Steve Rynella meat crafter in to get sharpened and they sent it back to me with a BROKEN TIP! It was not broken when I sent it in, all I needed was to have it sharpened. I'm sending it back today but am curious what will happen if they cannot make me whole again. I'm out shipping both times also. Very bad experience to say the least. I better stop writing because I'm getting angry. I will never use the Lifesharp service again and if this does not work out in my favor I am going to ditch BM altogether.
