Benchmade Warranty Question

I have a Benchmade AFCK 800BK-1001 and it is serial numbered /250. I want to send it in for service. Does anyone know if they will replace the current serated blade with a plain blade. If so would they put the same serial number on the blade?
Thanks for he help. I know I can call them tomorrow but I figured someone on here could let me know tonight.

They will replace the blade with a plain edge. They aren't going to put a serial number on it though.

I'd bet a dollar to a dime they don't have a blade for it.

They can mark the serial number on a new blade

Wow! Yes, they will replace the blade but no they won't have a blade for it. Yes they will serialize the new blade but no they won't. With information like this, it's no wonder the OP disappeared. I guess he ended up calling them instead.
