Benchmade warranty question

On benchmades website they say that they will honor their products sold through authorized dealers. I just bought a mini grip from REI, are they an authorized dealer?
 
I am not associated with BM in any way, but you can buy a legitimate BM knife from your uncle Frank's neighbour's pool cleaner and BM wll honour the warranty.
 
Okay thank you, I guess a second part of the question would be of REI is a legit retailer. Im sure a large chain store would be but I guess im paranoid
